I am really happy to announce this new project!
Created out of authentic admiration of Herman's genius idea of Bear Blog, Mataroa.blog is like Bear Blog but also a bit different. Namely, it has built-in first-class support to export your blog, and it also supports image hosting.
The core philosophy, however, remains the same: dead simple blogging.
Why would one create another service with minimal differences? Bear Blog is great indeed and by having another option the personal blogging ecosystem is enhanced. The space of no-tracking no-ads websites gets bigger. Faster, lighter web wins. At the end of the day, I really enjoyed building and thinking this project, so time well spent in my book!
